Good or bad vibrations?

Do you ever feel like all around the vibrations are suffocating you, like the negative feelings of others touch you, affect you, drain your energy, surrounding your existence.

I do, its tiresome and its making me dizzy and sick with nausea,
Sounds, chaos of others emotions entering my physic, taking away my peace and harmony, encounters become deafening, buzzing, deep into my mind, into my soul…..

Noises swirling, eyes heavy,head banging,panicked thoughts……

Breath, breath long and deep….. take away the negative, wash away the dirt, protect against the urban playing field of life.
Dilute, erase,cleanse the mind, find a different place to focus.
You can find tranquility just practice, calm still thoughts against the metropolis…….

Clouds are sometimes dark and dreary,
Hanging heavy over the heart and mind,
Life’s burdens damaging our harmony,
Stealing into our light of pleasure…..

Torment of unrest eating into your very essence,
Losing peace of tranquillity,
Erasing inner serenity,
Could these clouds disperse from view….

Find a gentle place inside of you,
Tender loving emotion flowing deep within,
Reach it with all your strength,
Then see those clouds evaporate….

The light will be blinding once its allowed to appear,
Taking your wildest desires and dreams,
Beyond any others comprehension
So lets feel its magnificent touch……

The crashing of the waves,
Children running free,
Soft grains of sand between your toes,
There is something about the freedom of the beach…

Hair flying with a fresh clean breeze,
Expansion of open adventure,
Vast beauty before me,
There is something about the freedom of the sea….

Cobwebs blown away with ease,
Natures gems shattered among velvet fragment’s,
Kites soaring higher
There will always be something magical about a beach…..

The white froth of the turning tide,
Its sheer strength is mesmerising,
Freeing engulfing all in its trail
I’ll always long for the freedom of the sea…..

The importance of taking time out!

Today I have spent a wonderful day at a spa, relaxing, catching up with a close friend and generally clearing my mind and enjoying some much needed time out from the hectic routine that’s my life.

I am incredibly lucky I have two fantastic children and a life that’s full of family and friends but actually taking a day for myself I do find somewhat hard.
I find it difficult and have in the past considered myself selfish but really it is so important to value yourself and have that realisation that occasionally it is necessary to have some me time….

It helps recharge, rejuvenate and readjust all making actually for a better clearer mind, more efficient and calmer you….
Now who wouldn’t buy into that…

We all play so many roles, I sometimes think I’m an actress,
we are parents, possibly grandparents, lovers, partners, spouses, daughters, sons siblings, friends, work colleagues, volunteers, writers, the list is endless.

There has to be a little time to be just yourself, down time, clearing the mind, if not I think we could all just burn out….

Importance of me time!

Burning out is perhaps a metaphor but very real with more people having breakdowns, suffering with depression and stress related mental health issues are on the increase.
The importance of valuing ourself has never been as important as now, more women are having children and then returning to their careers.
Adding these modern day pressures it can only lead to stress related illness.
So take heed now and consider these simple rules….
Prevention is always preferable to cure.

My list!!!!

• Give yourself at least 20 minutes everyday, sitting clearing your mind, a coffee, a quiet place, reflection.
This simple exercise will make such a difference.

• If you can awake first and get that first ten minutes alone with a cup of tea or squeezed lemon and warm water, then time to think about the day ahead, it will set you in the right direction.

• Allowing some time away once in a while, doing something you enjoy, in the company of someone you like.

• Not feeling guilty and remembering you have to be ok, fit and well, physically and mentally, so enabling you therefore to look after other’s, to be the best you can,and be successful and fair.

• learning and having the ability to say no if it isn’t convenient…..

This is a simple exercise and straightforward and achievable, so please do go practice and see your energy levels grown, your mind become clearer and an all round inner peace materialise sooner…..

Those first glimpses of Spring,
Warming the soul and defrosting the heart,
Buds bursting with promise and new life,
Sunrays enlightenment priceless…..

Feeling free from restraint,
Fun, laughter, frolics and merriments,
Imprisonment of Winter no more,
Springs arrived with its smile of abundance….

Natures colours appearing once again,
Primrose, cowslip not forgetting the golden daffodil,
All unearthed in their glory to glimpse,
Sweet aromas of bouquet on the wind…..

Can you hear the birds tweets fill the breeze,
Even mowers making perhaps an appearance,
For soon Spring will turn into Summer,
Essence of days to come…….

Everything and everyone let’s face it deserve respect without it there becomes only chaos…..

Strong words and definition

For me respect is everything, I always respect other people’s feelings, beliefs and ideals and expect in return the same.
However today’s society does seem in
  some instances to of forgotten this.

Without respect other people feel insignificant, they feel trodden on, really who is entitled to think they are superior to another. Equality runs deep and has huge meaning…..

This for me doesn’t just stop with people, animals, plants all living things and very importantly our planet because we haven’t in the last several decades respected it.
We can pretend like the politicians of our world that global warmer isn’t occurring but yes you guessed it, it is….
Already it is having significant and harmful effects on our communities, our health, and our climate. Sea level rise is accelerating. The number of large wildfires is growing. Dangerous heat waves are becoming more common.
